Celest Art

Celest Trimnell, a talented artist based in the United States but originally from Nigeria, embarked on his artistic journey in his homeland. He attended Ibadan Grammar School and St. Gregory's College in Lagos, where he had the privilege of studying under the guidance of the renowned Nigerian artist Bruce Onobrakpeya at St. Gregory's College, who served as a significant source of inspiration and mentorship.

Celest has been passionately painting and refining his craft, accumulating valuable experience in the art world. His extensive career in art has allowed him to develop a unique and versatile style, showcasing his commitment to artistic expression.

At the university, he delved into the world of art, drawing inspiration from great masters of the impressionist style such as Edward Monet, Edgar Degas, and Pablo Picasso. Additionally, he had the opportunity to study under the guidance of the late Gani Odutokun, a prominent painter, which broadened his artistic horizons and approach to painting.

Celest's journey is characterised by his refusal to confine himself to a specific style. He is known for his willingness to explore diverse techniques and styles, allowing his creativity to flourish. This artistic versatility is a hallmark of his work.

In the United States, Celest has continued to make a mark in the art world, with his paintings finding their way into homes and offices. His art invites public appreciation and constructive criticism, as viewers are encouraged to explore his work's subject matter, style, and the materials and tools he employs in his creations.

Recently Celest's artwork was showcased at a Rolls-Royce showroom during the unveiling of the first electric Rolls-Royce earlier this month. This prestigious event, to which Celest was given a private invitation, provided a remarkable platform for guests to appreciate his art, which was prominently displayed around the showroom, adding an extra touch of artistic elegance to the occasion.

Celest has recently signed an exclusive deal with Waran's Fine Art, a London-based company who are known for representing a diverse range of contemporary artists. The exclusive deal with Waran's Fine Art not only provides a platform for showcasing Celest work but also highlights his ability to connect with art enthusiasts and collectors on a international scale.
